CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Description:
The PENN Center for Psychotherapy Research - Northwestern Human Services Research Collaboration is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to help coordinate an NIMH-funded grant (PI: Paul Crits-Christoph, Ph.D.). The goal of this grant is to establish infrastructure for research in a community mental health agency. Duties include facilitation of patient recruitment, clinical assessment of enrolled patients, and preparation of study materials.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualification for this position is a BA or BS from an approved university or college, with preference given to applicants whose degree is in psychology. Candidates must be able to work both independently and cooperatively, deal effectively with professional staff/associates, and be detail-oriented. Candidates should have a very strong interest in clinical aspects of psychological research. Additionally, candidates are required to be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet packages. Valid driver’s license and car are required to visit satellite sites in the Philadelphia area. Candidates must also be willing to make a 2 year commitment to the position.
